Surabaya (01/09) - The annual program of toilet appraisal carried out by the Asosiasi Toilet Indonesia (ATI) or Indonesian Toilet Association in the form of extension, education, and dissemination on toilet hygiene makes the appraisal program on toilet hygiene in airports in Indonesia an important matter.
This is inseparable from use of toilet which is much needed by all community members including users of toilet in airports. Therefore, toilet facilities in the Head Office of Juanda International Airport are appraised in term of their cleanliness, comfort and standard.
The ATI Team led by Siti Adiningsih Adiwoso as chairperson of ATI (Asosiasi Toilet Indonesia) or Indonesian Toilet Association inspected toilet facilities in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, commenting that toilet facilities in Terminal 1 have been uniformed but need improvement for the size of rubbish bans at the toilet for the disabled people.
"In Terminal 2, selection of cleaning fluid is accurate that the floor is clean and dirt quickly dissolves” said Siti Adiningsih Adiwoso
The General Manager of the International Airport Yuwono said "Toilet is not only as a facility at the airport but also serves as an image for places in the airport. Clean and comfortable toilets make the toilet users not only impressed but also demonstrate excellent service provided by the airport"
